Veneers Can Give you That Celebrity-Level Smile You’ve Always Wanted

Veneers Can Give you That Celebrity-Level Smile You’ve Always Wanted

Have you ever been watching TV and thought, I wish my smile looked like that? Celebrities have the brightest, most attractive smiles, but attaining that look is probably easier than you realize.

Dr. Stephen Hiroshige recommends veneers for patients who want to look younger, have a celebrity-level smile, or need to camouflage flaws in their smile. Veneers are attractive, last a long time, and may be exactly right for your cosmetic goals.

How veneers work

Veneers are kind of like masks for your teeth. They are very thin shells  made of a composite material or of porcelain, which are permanently bonded to your teeth.

Dr. Hiroshige can hide chipped, cracked, or discolored teeth using veneers. Veneers can also correct the appearance of misshapen teeth or gaps between your teeth. The result is a bright, even, beautiful smile.

Your first visit

During your first visit, Dr. Hiroshige talks to you about your goals. What displeases you about your smile? How would you like it to look? Once he understands your goals, he discusses your options.

If you decide veneers are the best choice, Dr. Hiroshige first makes sure you’re a good candidate. He checks to see that you don’t have tooth decay, gum disease, or other issues that need to be addressed first.

After that, he begins working to create veneers that will meet your goals, yet also look appropriate in your mouth. He takes an impression of your teeth to custom-design your veneers.

The procedure

Once your veneers are ready, they are permanently bonded to your teeth. In order to place your veneers permanently, Dr. Hiroshige removes a very thin layer of enamel, equal to the thickness of your veneers. Then, he uses a specialized bonding material to attach your veneers.

The benefits

You may be surprised by how having the smile of your dreams affects you. You look younger with a brighter smile. You’re likely to get compliments on your appearance, though your friends and family may not realize what’s changed.

When you feel more confident about your appearance, you behave differently. You’re more likely to speak up during meetings, more likely to ask for the raise or promotion you’ve been wanting, even more likely to ask for a date. Regardless of your position in life, interacting with the world more confidently can bring about amazing, unexpected changes.

If you’d like to find out more about gaining a celebrity-level smile, schedule an appointment for a consultation with Dr. Hiroshige today. You never know how much a beautiful smile can change your life until you have the smile of your dreams.
